So, I'm assuming anyone who is reading this knows we relatively well, but since I'm new to this I'll start by introducing myself.

My name is Joseph Lyon, and as of the time of this blog I am going to be a sophomore in college. I attend Purdue University in Indiana, Boiler Up! Unfortunately I'm quite the nerd, so I tend to study more than have fun while I'm up there.

I have a mom and a dad and one little brother that although I love him to death, annoys the crap out of me. Oh I do believe I forgot to mention my major! I'm majoring in Biological Engineering and Biochemistry! Fun stuffs. Anywho, let's continue with my life!

I have a girlfriend, sorry ladies, and we have been dating about 7 months officially. She's quite the awesome person!

Uhh.....but on to the purpose of this blog!

As I said earlier, I wouldn't consider myself as much a christian as a Jesus follower, and I'm sure I'll go into details later with that one. And because I'm part of a dying breed (religious folks on a college campus), I figured my view on a few things would be enlightening for me to write down. But whoever is reading this may also find it enlightening. So with that I think I shall end this blog post. Please tell me if my writing style is too informal or if it's alright!
